Use of Tachomaster costs just £1 per worker per week and 50p per digital vehicle per week (if you choose to upload your vehicle data) - there is no charge for vehicles with analogue tachographs.
Tachomaster is free software
You do not have to pay to download or use the software, and you are not tied into a minimum term contract. You will only be charged for the service we provide when you upload your data, i.e. for us to analyse, display and store the data that you upload.

Unlimited users

Custom user profiles
Administrators are able to create user profiles to be assigned to your users. These can be set to restrict certain aspects of Tachomaster – you may, for example, want a user restricted to reporting only.

The Tachomaster Client
The Tachomaster Client provides the tools for uploading your driver cards, vehicle units and analogue charts. To benefit all users, there is no limit on the number of Tachomaster Client installs.

The online card reader
Without installing any software on your PC you can plug your card reader in and upload your driver card directly through your browser. The data is passed quickly through the Tachomaster servers. Nothing could be simpler.

Rest Days
Leave and Rest Days are a big part of managing your workers. Tachomaster provides the ability to add Leave or Rest Days in batches, or more specifically through the Driver Calendar.

Access to raw data

Enhanced Vehicle Calendar
Similar to the Driver Calendar, you can quickly see the times your vehicle was in use and by which driver. Uniquely with Vehicle Data, you can also see times when the vehicle was in use but no card was used.

Instant access to all Vehicle reports
Some reports are only available when uploading your Vehicle Unit data. You will be able to use the Missing Cards report to identify times where no card was used. The Vehicle Speed will become available, as well as details of any unit faults or events.

Detailed vehicle speed
The Vehicle Unit is the only way to gather speed data from the tachograph. This data is invaluable when investigating vehicle activity. Tachomaster can generate interactive graphs or a detailed export of the raw data to the second.

Assign missing card data
When a vehicle is misused without a driver card present other systems will leave a gap in the driver data. Tachomaster allows you to assign the data from the vehicle to the appropriate driver - filling in the gap.

More reliable odometer readings
Due to the design of the tachograph, sometimes driver cards do not record the vehicle odometer. Luckily, the vehicle unit data does provide this data. Tachomaster integrates the odometer values with the driver data to give you the complete picture.

Instant Analysis of your Tachographs. Unlike other systems, with Tachomaster you don't have to wait days, or even a week to have your tachographs analysed. Tachomaster instantly analyses your charts, digital tachograph drivers' cards and vehicle units so you can see them immediately.
Tachomaster automatically analyses your information against both Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations to ensure that you stay compliant with both sets of legislation.
If there are any infringements, Tachomaster will alert you to them and, of course, produce detailed infringement letters for your drivers. The letters are written in plain English so they are easy to understand, as well as fully quoting the regulation that has been infringed.
Obviously both Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations need to know about the amount of leave and rest days your staff have had, Tachomaster lets you easily manage these either by individual worker or groups of workers. You can even generate your drivers' wages report direct from Tachomaster.
See what your Vehicles and Drivers have done — at a glance — with Tachomaster's Calenders. You will clearly see any infringements, drivers' hours, rest, patterns in working habits and where you can make improvements.
Your analysed tachographs contain a wealth of knowledge about how you're using your vehicles and drivers. Tachomaster lets you see, understand and use this information. Naturally all Tachomaster reports let you compare different drivers, depots and regions.
There's no need to run the same report again and again either. You can schedule Tachomaster reports to run automatically every day, week or month. When it's run, the report is then automatically emailed to you.
To comply with both Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive, you are required to keep records for two years. So that you get the maximum benefit from Tachomaster's reports, nothing gets removed after the two year period; you keep all of your tachograph information.
If you want to export any report to another system then you can, for free, with Tachomaster. It's also free to export all of your 'raw' tachograph information too – VOSA may sometimes ask you to do this.
Using Tachomaster may even shorten the time a VOSA inspection takes too. VOSA do not recommend any particular analysis system. But we know from Tachomaster users that during inspections they have been asked to just print one Tachomaster report to prove their compliance.
You can install Tachomaster on as many of your company's computers as you like and there are no restrictions on the number of users that can use the system. You control what each user can, or cannot do on your Tachomaster system.
Tachomaster is easy to use and there are lots of training videos and notes for you. But if you do want any help, telephone and email support is free.
Unlike many other systems, there is no contract if you were to decide to stop using Tachomaster at any time, then you simply stop. You will only be billed for what you've used.

Tachomaster Pricing Policy
Tachomaster is free software, you do not have to pay to download or use the software, and you are not tied into a minimum term contract. You will only be charged for the service we provide when you upload your data, i.e. for us to analyse, display and store the data that you upload. We charge for the vehicle and drivers separately as not all customers require both features and we do not feel it is fair to spread the cost to all users, unlike other companies we actually analyse the vehicle data.

28 Day Free Trial Period
All data entered in the trial period is free and will not be charged, regardless of when you subscribe, even If you subscribe to Tachomaster part way through your free trial; none of the data you entered during the whole of your free 28 day trial will be charged. You will not be required to provide any financial information to use the trial system.

Digital Vehicle, 50p per vehicle per week - No charge for vehicles with Analogue tachographs -
General
Definition of a week: Monday 0000 hours to Sunday 2400 hours
Charging: Weekly increments
Payment: Payment is required 4 weekly in arrears by Direct Debit
Billing: All billing for use of the Tachomaster system will be in an electronic format, e-mailed to the e-mail address you enter in the billing details. A full breakdown of the billing is available on the “my account” page of our website. -
End of Trial, Live User Subscription
Drivers:
Driver data will be charged whether entered by driver card or from tachograph chart. Any data that you enter for a driver present or back dated, will be fully charged.
New Drivers:
New Drivers that you recruit and add onto Tachomaster may have many months of data already recorded on his/her driver card from previous employment. Tachomaster will need to take 4 weeks data from the previous employment in order to calculate the driver's working time and EU rules compliance. You will be charged for these 4 weeks of data at the standard rate of £1 per week. Please remember that you need to have analysed this data to remain compliant.
Agency or Casual:
Where a driver is marked as Agency or Casual, you are free to select and enter data for the days when the worker worked for your company. You will only be charged for the weeks that you have entered for Agency or Casual drivers, therefore any week where no day has been selected will not be charged.
Please remember that if you do not to select individual days for Agency or Casual workers and choose instead to download all of the data, Tachomaster will charge for all the data downloaded, which might include weeks where the driver was working for a third party.
Holidays:
Tachomaster allows you to enter holidays on the system if you so choose. If you enter this data you will be charged.
Rest Days:
Tachomaster allows you to enter rest days, you will not be charged for this data entry.
Vehicle Data:
Where you download data from the vehicle onto Tachomaster you will be charged 50p for each week that data is entered.
Vehicle data will be charged from the date of the first upload. Data before this time will not be shown or charged for. -
